At my school, we have a dance on a friday almost every month. Last night there was a dance. *sigh* I like a guy, and I'm pretty sure he likes me too. We were together most of the time after he finished helping sell food. I was sitting on the floor, because I was really tired (they had just played a dance song) and he sat down next to me. My other friends got up so we were alone, but close enough to other people that they could hear us if we were talking. He started to talk in sign language, and I really suck at sign language. He showed me how to spell my name, then he started to spell something else. When he was half done, I said"I'm really sorry, I don't understand sign language..." Now I feel like a complete idiot. I remember some of the letters, like the first was "I" then "L" something "V-E" Then I interupted. I think he was trying to say "I love you" Why am I such an idiot? Why couldn't I have waited? I want a redo!! So then we went into the lunch room and he bought me a soda. Unfortunately we were still drinking them when the second slow song came on (we weren't there for the first one either) so I gave my soda to my friend, and he finished his. We went back into the gym and he waited like 20 seconds, then he asked me to dance, and unlike the last dance, I made sure I looked happy, even if I was looking at the floor. Then I noticed that his ex-girlfriend who "left him to chase after the guy she liked while they were going out, even if she won't admit it" was dancing with "the guy" right next to us. So then I looked around and randomly said "Hey. look, she's not wearing shoes" then another one of our friends came over and poked me in the side, they think its very funny to watch me squeal and twitch *sigh* Then the dance ended and he just said "bye" poked me and walked away *more sighs* So I don't know if I'm insanely happy, sad, angry at myself, or just numb....I'm confused!!
